MOMMA’S GOOD SILVER
by Philip Mitchell

Charlie and her father make a last stand against a werewolf “outbreak” and discover that the real horror isn’t just the wolves at their door…
A little taster…
Momma had a lot of silver. Rings and necklaces and hanging ear loops. And we’d all seen Gramps make the bullets using sand molds and an arc furnace. Daddy said he thought we’d get maybe a dozen and a half bullets, maybe even north of twenty if we were stingy. In the end we both decided to stay with what we knew worked.
For a week we walked the perimeter the new way, with me on the edge with both pistols, and Daddy up on the roof. He bagged his first wolfman from up there.
This one’s for you if you like…
Societal breakdown of a monstrous “outbreak”; mystery and dread; touching father-daughter relationships. And if you’re a fan of werewolf stories of course!

About the author
Philip Mitchell lives in Connecticut, USA with his wife, four children, a lazy Corgi and a domineering cat. This is his first published work. When not writing (or reading) trashy tales, he feeds his tribe of people and livestock by cooking up media strategies for a list of Fortune 500 clients. Fun-time is spent attending various school games, plays, concerts and sporting events cheering on the aforementioned quartet of talented children. As ever, he is at work on his blockbuster debut novel.
